Coconut palace

The Coconut Palace is a guest-house palace in Manila, Philippines. It was made of several types of Philippine hardwood, coconut shells, and a specially engineered coconut lumber. There are seven rooms inside the place which all of them are named after a specific region of the Philippines and display different regional styles of home interior design and furnishing. It is located on Eduardo A. Makabenta, Sr. Street at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex between the Folk Arts Theatre and the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, not far from Harbour square. We can take a jeepney from Vito Cruz or a taxi around 50-60 peso from Mall of Asia.

With 100 peso only, you can see the whole palace by guided by a tour guide and of course taking pictures as many as you can in 1 hour. Check first the open time before you go there! We had to wait around 30 minutes before we could enter the place . There was no place to wait so we had to wait outside a big Chinese restaurant. The nearest cafe was full of people at that time. We could enter the palace at 3.15. pm.
